Allu Arjun is an Indian actor who works mainly in Telugu cinema.

Allu Arjun (born 8 April 1982) is an Indian actor known for his work in Telugu cinema. He has received a National Film Award, multiple Filmfare Awards, and Nandi Awards. His films have international reach, including among Canadian audiences and the South Asian diaspora.

Early life and family

Allu Arjun was born in Madras (now Chennai) on 8 April 1982 and comes from a well-known Telugu film family. His father is producer Allu Aravind, and his grandfather was comedian Allu Ramalingaiah.

Film career

He entered Telugu cinema with Gangotri in 2003 and later became known for commercially successful and critically noticed films. He has appeared in more than 25 films. His filmography includes major titles such as Arya, Bunny, Race Gurram, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and Pushpa: The Rise.
