Scott Charles Bigelow was born in Asbury Park, New Jersey, in 1961. After leaving prison in Mexico, he began training for professional wrestling at Larry Sharpe's Monster Factory and debuted in 1985.

Bigelow worked in Memphis, the WWF/WWE, ECW, WCW, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. Sources describe him as one of wrestling's most athletic large performers, with a style built around surprising speed and aerial offence.
