Mulroney began his broadcasting career in 2000 as a correspondent for *The Chatroom* and joined CTV shortly after. He co-hosted and hosted entertainment and morning television programs for CTV for about 20 years. He hosted *etalk* from 2002 to 2020, covering major events such as the Oscars, the Golden Globes, and the Juno Awards. He also hosted *Canadian Idol* from 2003 to 2008 and *Your Morning* from 2016 to 2021.
