Beth Mead was born in Whitby, England, on 9 May 1995. She came through English youth and club football before establishing herself in the Women's Super League. She joined Arsenal from Sunderland in January 2017 and became one of the league's leading attacking players. Mead plays as a forward and has also featured as a winger.

England career

Mead made her senior England debut in 2018 and became an important part of the national team. Her most notable international tournament came at UEFA Women's Euro 2022, where she led the scoring and assists charts and helped England win the title. She was also part of the England squad that won UEFA Euro 2025.
