Early life and training

Jonathan Huber was born in Rochester, New York, and began wrestling in 2003. Sources describe his early work as coming from the independent and backyard wrestling scenes.

Independent wrestling career

Before WWE, he wrestled for promotions including NWA Upstate, CHIKARA, CZW and others in North America and Europe. He earned multiple championships during this period.

WWE career as Luke Harper

Huber signed with WWE in 2012 and performed as Luke Harper. He became closely associated with The Wyatt Family and won titles including the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
