Early life

Callen was born on January 26, 1967, in Manila, Philippines, and spent part of his childhood living overseas before moving to the United States. He attended high school in Massachusetts and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from American University.

Career in television and film

Callen first gained wider attention as an original cast member of the sketch comedy series MADtv. He subsequently appeared in a range of television series, including Oz, How I Met Your Mother, The Goldbergs, and Schooled. His film roles include appearances in Old School, Bad Santa, The Hangover, and Joker, often in comedic supporting parts.

Stand-up comedy and podcasting

In addition to acting, Callen has worked as a stand-up comedian, performing on television and in comedy venues. He is also known for podcasting, particularly as co-host of The Fighter and the Kid alongside Brendan Schaub.
