Cockapoos vary in size because they may be bred from toy, miniature, or standard poodles paired with different cocker spaniels. Reported adult sizes range from small to medium, with common weights around 5.4–10.9 kg and heights around 25–40 cm.

Cockapoos are commonly described as affectionate, intelligent, energetic, and family-oriented companion dogs. Their temperament can vary because they are a crossbreed rather than a fixed pure breed.

Coat and allergy considerations
