Eric Weinstein was born in 1965 and later studied mathematics and mathematical physics. He completed a PhD at Harvard University in 1992 under mathematician Raoul Bott.

Career

Weinstein has worked across academia, economics, and finance. He has held research positions in mathematics, physics, and economics at institutions including MIT, Hebrew University, and Harvard. He served as managing director of Thiel Capital and was previously a co-founder and principal of the Natron Group. He also holds a research affiliation as a visiting research fellow at the Oxford University Mathematical Institute.
