Early life and playing career

Lampard was born in Romford, London, in 1978 and began his senior career at West Ham United in the mid-1990s. He later became one of the Premier League’s most productive midfielders. He started his professional career at West Ham United, the club where his father also played.

Chelsea career

Lampard joined Chelsea in 2001 and spent 13 years at the club. He became the club’s record goalscorer and won numerous domestic and European trophies. He won three Premier League titles, four FA Cups, two League Cups, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League with Chelsea.

England career

Lampard earned 106 caps for England between 1999 and 2014. He scored 29 international goals and played at major tournaments including the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He made 106 appearances for England and scored 29 goals.
