Gary Neville

Gary Neville is an English former professional footballer, pundit, broadcaster and businessman.

Gary Alexander Neville (born 18 February 1975) is an English former professional footballer, pundit, broadcaster and businessman. He spent his entire playing career at Manchester United as a right-back, captained the club, and later worked as a television commentator, England assistant coach and Valencia manager.

Early life and youth career

Gary Neville was born in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1975 and joined Manchester United as an apprentice in 1991. He came through the club’s youth system and made his senior debut in 1992.

Manchester United career

Neville spent his entire professional club career with Manchester United, where he established himself as a long-serving right-back and later captain. His honours with the club included multiple domestic league titles and European trophies.

England career

Neville was a long-term England international and earned 85 senior caps. He played as a right-back and represented England at major tournaments during his international career.

Post-playing career

After retiring in 2011, Neville became a television pundit and commentator, including work with Sky Sports. He also held coaching and management roles with England and Valencia, and expanded into business and club ownership.
