Geneviève Pettersen is a Canadian Québécois writer, columnist, and screenwriter born in 1982 in Wendake, Quebec.

Early life and education

Pettersen was born in Wendake, Quebec, in 1982. She later moved to Montreal. She studied sociology and literature at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) before working in publishing and advertising.

Writing career

Her first novel, *La déesse des mouches à feu*, was published in 2014. It became a major success and established her profile as a novelist. She later published other books, including *La reine de rien*.
