Her notable films include The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Solomon and Sheba, and Come September. She appeared alongside major Hollywood stars such as Humphrey Bogart, Rock Hudson, Frank Sinatra, and Errol Flynn.

As her film career waned, Lollobrigida turned increasingly to photography and sculpture. She also became involved in politics later in life.
