Holly Holm was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 17, 1981. She began her combat-sports career in kickboxing before transitioning to professional boxing. Holm became a multiple-time world champion in boxing and retired with a record of 33–2–3. She was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2022.
Mixed martial arts career
Holm made her mixed martial arts debut in 2011. She joined the UFC in 2015 and quickly established herself as a top contender in the women's bantamweight division. Known for her striking-heavy style, she compiled an MMA record of 15–7–0 with one no contest.
