Guns N’ Roses
Stradlin co-founded Guns N’ Roses in March 1985 with Axl Rose and other members of L.A. Guns. He served as the band’s rhythm guitarist and was an important songwriter during its early years. He left the band in 1991, after the release of the Use Your Illusion albums.
Ju Ju Hounds and solo work
After leaving Guns N’ Roses, Stradlin formed Izzy Stradlin and the Ju Ju Hounds. He also continued recording and performing as a solo artist, and has worked as a session musician.
