Early life and youth career

João Félix was born in Viseu, Portugal. He developed as a player in Portuguese youth football, rising through the youth systems of Os Pestinhas, FC Porto, and Benfica before joining Benfica's system. He progressed from the reserve side to the senior team in 2018.

Club career

Félix first gained major attention at Benfica, where his performances helped the club win the Primeira Liga in 2018–19. He later transferred to Atlético Madrid in 2019 for a reported €126 million, one of the highest fees for a teenager at the time. Subsequently, he had loan or transfer spells with Chelsea, Barcelona, and Milan before joining Al-Nassr.

International career
