Early life and high school

Sadiq is from Idaho Falls, Idaho, and attended Skyline High School. Recruiting profiles described him as a highly athletic receiver-turned-tight end prospect.

College career at Oregon

He enrolled at Oregon in early 2023 and played three seasons for the Ducks. By 2025, he had become one of the team’s top pass-catching threats at tight end. In 2025, he recorded 51 receptions, 560 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns, setting Oregon single-season records for tight end receptions and receiving touchdowns.

Professional career

Sadiq entered the 2026 NFL Draft after his junior season and was chosen by the New York Jets in the first round with the 16th overall pick. ESPN lists him as an active Jets tight end. His combine 40-yard dash time was reported as 4.39 seconds, the fastest ever by a tight end at the NFL combine.
