Kevin B. Sullivan is an American Democratic politician from Connecticut. He served as the 106th lieutenant governor of Connecticut from 2004 to 2007 and previously represented the state in the Connecticut Senate, where he became president pro tempore. He later served as Connecticut’s commissioner of revenue services and as a 2024 presidential elector pledged to Kamala Harris.

Early political career

Sullivan entered state politics through the Connecticut State Senate after being elected in 1986. He rose to become president pro tempore, one of the chamber’s top leadership positions.

Lieutenant governor of Connecticut

Sullivan served as Connecticut’s 106th lieutenant governor from 2004 to 2007. This placed him among the state’s highest elected officials during the administration in office at that time.

Later public service

After leaving the lieutenant governorship, Sullivan continued in public administration. In 2011 he was appointed commissioner of revenue services by Governor Dannel Malloy.

Other roles

Sullivan also held leadership responsibilities beyond Connecticut state government, including serving as president of the national Federation of Tax Administrators. He was later listed as a 2024 presidential elector pledged to Kamala Harris.
