Broadcasting

Leagues Cup matches are distributed through Apple TV/MLS Season Pass, and the competition is marketed as available in more than 100 countries and regions. Some editions also include selected matches on other broadcasters.

Canadian participation

Canadian MLS clubs may qualify for the tournament, so the event includes teams from Canadian markets as part of MLS representation. Toronto FC, CF Montréal and Vancouver Whitecaps FC are the Canadian clubs most closely associated with MLS participation.
