Early life and youth career

Millar was born in Toronto and grew up in Brampton, Ontario. He played youth soccer in Canada before moving to England as a child and joining the Fulham and later Liverpool youth systems.

Club career

After progressing through Liverpool’s academy, Millar gained first-team experience through loan spells in Scotland and England. He then joined FC Basel permanently in 2021 and later signed for Hull City in 2024.

International career

Millar has been a senior Canada international and was part of Canada’s squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Canada Soccer also lists him as part of the team that finished first in the final round of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying for 2021–22.

Playing style
