She finished her Tennessee career with 44 home runs and 207 RBIs, and helped the team reach the Women's College World Series in 2012 and 2013. She earned multiple All-SEC honors and was named the 2014 Southeastern Conference Player of the Year.
Professional softball career
After college, Shipman was selected in the 2014 National Pro Fastpitch Draft and played professionally for the USSSA Pride and Scrap Yard Dawgs. Her professional playing career ended in 2016.
