Premise

The series begins after Monsters, Incorporated has switched from scaring children to powering Monstropolis with laughter. It follows Tylor Tuskmon as he tries to build a career at the company while working with the mechanics of MIFT.

Development and release

Monsters at Work was developed by Bobs Gannaway and produced by Disney Television Animation. It premiered on Disney+ in July 2021 and was later broadcast on Disney Channel.

Relation to Monsters, Inc.

The show is a sequel to Monsters, Inc. and includes returning characters such as Mike and Sulley. It expands the franchise with new characters while continuing the original film’s setting and lore.

The series features returning voices including Billy Crystal and John Goodman, alongside new characters voiced by actors such as Ben Feldman, Mindy Kaling, Henry Winkler, and Lucas Neff.
