Paul Bissonnette is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and current media personality. He played primarily as a left winger in the NHL for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Phoenix Coyotes, and later became known as a broadcaster and podcast co-host.

Early life and junior hockey

Bissonnette was born in Welland, Ontario, and played junior hockey in the Ontario Hockey League for the North Bay Centennials, Saginaw Spirit, and Owen Sound Attack.

Professional playing career

He was drafted by Pittsburgh in 2003 and played in the NHL and AHL from 2005 to 2017, with his NHL appearances coming mainly for Pittsburgh and Phoenix. He spent much of his career in the minor leagues, including the AHL, and won the Calder Cup with the Manchester Monarchs in 2015.

Media career

After his playing career, Bissonnette became known for broadcasting and podcast work, including NHL studio analysis and co-hosting the Spittin' Chiclets podcast.
