Pinnacle One Yonge is a multi-phase mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, being developed by Pinnacle International on the waterfront at 1–7 Yonge Street.

Development

Pinnacle One Yonge is a master-planned waterfront development at the foot of Yonge Street in downtown Toronto. The project is being built in multiple phases and includes several towers of varying heights. The site area encompasses about 4.4 million square feet of development. The development also incorporates the existing One Yonge Street/Toronto Star building area into the broader redevelopment.

Towers and uses

The first residential tower, Prestige, was completed in 2022 and stands 65 storeys tall. The planned tallest element, SkyTower, will rise 106 storeys (about 352 metres) and is intended to become Canada's tallest residential tower. The broader scheme includes retail space, hotel uses, office space, community amenities and connections to Toronto's PATH system.

Design

Hariri Pontarini Architects designed the project, with landscape design support from NAK Design Strategies. The proposal emphasizes pedestrian connections, mid-block links and waterfront public-realm improvements.

Context

The development is located beside One Yonge Street at the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Lake Shore Boulevard. It is part of a major transformation of a former parking and low-rise commercial area into a high-density urban precinct.
