Savage rose to prominence in the WWF in the mid-1980s. He won the WWF Intercontinental Championship and held it for 14 months, then captured the WWF Championship twice. He later moved to WCW, where he became a four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He also competed in TNA. Throughout his career, he was known for high-profile feuds and championship success.
