Early life

Rhian Teasdale was born in Formby, Merseyside, in 1993 and moved to the Isle of Wight when she was eight. She later moved to Bristol to pursue music.

Solo work as Rhain

Before Wet Leg, Teasdale released several singles between 2016 and 2018 under the name Rhain. One of the singles, "Solid Gold," was developed with Plastic Mermaids.

Wet Leg

Teasdale co-founded Wet Leg with Hester Chambers in 2018. The band became widely known through the singles "Chaise Longue" and "Wet Dream," followed by a successful debut album.

Later activity
