Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen is an Indian former actress and producer known for work in Hindi, Telugu, and Bengali films.

Early life and background

Rimi Sen was born in Kolkata and is credited in some sources under her birth name, Subhamitra Sen. Some sources describe her as having begun acting as a child in Bengali cinema.

Film career

Sen made her lead-film debut in the Telugu film Nee Thodu Kavali in 2002. Her Hindi film debut was the 2003 comedy Hungama, which brought a Filmfare Best Female Debut nomination. She entered mainstream Hindi cinema in the early 2000s, later appearing in several popular ensemble and action-comedy films. She is especially associated with Dhoom and the Hera Pheri and Golmaal franchises.
