Early life and youth career

Romelu Lukaku was born on 13 May 1993 in Antwerp, Belgium. He came through youth football in Belgium before breaking into Anderlecht’s senior team, making his professional debut as a teenager and quickly establishing himself as a prolific scorer.

Club career

Lukaku began his senior career with Anderlecht in Belgium. He later played for Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, Manchester United, Inter Milan, Roma, and Napoli. He joined Napoli permanently on 29 August 2024. Lukaku has won league titles in Belgium, Italy, and with Napoli in the 2024–25 season.

International career

Lukaku has been a long-time member of the Belgium national team and is widely listed as the country’s all-time leading men’s goalscorer. He represented Belgium at major tournaments, including the 2018 FIFA World Cup, where he played a major role in Belgium’s third-place finish.

Playing style
