Theo Hernandez is a French professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Al Hilal and the France national team. Born in Marseille in 1997, he began his career at Atlético Madrid and later played for Real Madrid, AC Milan, among others. He has won major titles including the UEFA Champions League and Serie A.

Early life and youth career

Theo Hernandez was born in Marseille and developed as a player in the Atlético Madrid youth system. He is the son of former footballer Jean-François Hernandez and the brother of Lucas Hernandez.

Club career

Hernandez began his senior career in Spain, including spells with Atlético Madrid’s reserves, Deportivo Alavés and Real Sociedad, before joining Real Madrid. He later moved to AC Milan, where he became a regular starter and won domestic honours, before signing for Al Hilal in 2025.
