Early life and youth career

Thorgan Hazard was born in La Louvière, Belgium, in 1993. He developed as a youth player before beginning his professional career with Lens in France.

Club career

After signing for Chelsea in 2012, Hazard was loaned to Zulte Waregem and later moved to Borussia Mönchengladbach, where he established himself in the Bundesliga. He did not play a competitive first-team match for Chelsea. He later played for Borussia Dortmund, had a loan spell at PSV, and signed for Anderlecht in 2023.

International career

Hazard has been part of the Belgium national team setup as a senior international. UEFA lists him as a Belgium player during the 2025/26 Europa League season.

Honours and recognition

His individual honours include the Belgian Golden Shoe and Belgian Professional Footballer of the Year in 2014. He also won the DFB-Pokal with Borussia Dortmund in the 2020–21 season.
