At Florida, Tebow became the first sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy in 2007. He was a central figure in the Gators’ national championship seasons in 2006 and 2008, making him one of the most recognizable players in American football.

Professional football career

Tebow was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft (25th overall). He later played for the New York Jets, and his professional football career lasted three seasons.

Baseball and media work
