Early life and youth career

Kroos was born in Greifswald, Germany, on January 4, 1990. Before reaching senior football, he developed in the German system and later joined Bayern Munich as a teenager.

Club career

Kroos began his senior club career with Bayern Munich in 2007. He had a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen before transferring from Bayern Munich to Real Madrid in 2014 for €25 million. At Real Madrid, he made 465 appearances and scored 28 goals, according to the club. Kroos was part of Real Madrid teams that won six European Cups/UEFA Champions League titles during his tenure.

International career

Kroos represented Germany for more than a decade and was part of the squad that won the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Sources also note that he ended his Germany career in 2024 after Euro 2024.
