History

Treehouse TV launched on November 1, 1997, drawing its name from YTV’s former programming block, The Treehouse. The channel began with a broadcast day from 6 a.m. to 3 a.m. and later moved to a 24-hour schedule. Its Nickelodeon programming ended in 2025 when the broadcast rights expired.
