Presidency

Biden won the 2020 presidential election and took office as the 46th president in January 2021. His administration focused on infrastructure, climate policy, semiconductor manufacturing, and pandemic recovery, and responded to COVID-19, inflation, and wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. He announced in July 2024 that he would not seek re-election and later withdrew from the presidential race.
