Jordan Poyer (born April 25, 1991) is an American professional football safety for the Miami Dolphins. He played college football at Oregon State University and was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the seventh round of the 2013 NFL Draft. Poyer has also played for the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills, earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl recognition with the Bills.

Early life and college

Poyer was born in Dallas, Oregon, and played college football at Oregon State University. His college performance led to his selection in the 2013 NFL Draft.

NFL career
