Early life and family

LiAngelo Ball grew up in California and became widely known through the basketball careers and public profile of the Ball family. He is the son of LaVar Ball and the younger brother of Lonzo Ball and older brother of LaMelo Ball. He is one of three brothers who all played high-level basketball.

High school and college career

Ball starred at Chino Hills High School and helped the team win a California state championship alongside his brothers. He later committed to UCLA, but his college basketball career ended before it began after a 2017 shoplifting incident and subsequent suspension.

Professional basketball career

After leaving UCLA, Ball played for BC Prienai in Lithuania and later in the Junior Basketball Association, a league founded by his father. He also spent time in the NBA G League and was an undrafted entrant in the 2018 NBA draft.
