Early life and education

Elizabeth Warren was born in Oklahoma City in 1949 and was raised in Oklahoma. She studied at the University of Houston and Rutgers University before building a career in law and academia.

Academic career

Warren became known as an expert on bankruptcy and consumer law. She spent more than three decades as a law professor, including at Harvard Law School.

Political career
